INtercollegiat Paintball WAR FAQ

1. How many people will be going on this trip: The exact number is unknown but can be anywhere between 2000-5000 players

2.  Do they have to be CCNY students: No, they can be from any college at all.

3.  How long will the trip last: The Event will be an all day event and is expected to end around 8:00pm

4.  Are we reserving the entire field: Yes, but only if it is needed which will be decided the morning of by Skirmish Official

5.  When and how do we get tickets: Tickets are available for free through the student government at your school only if they accepted the invite. If you go to your student government and they say that they dont know what you are talking about then put them into contact with Ana our college outreach leader amajuana@aol.com and she will do the rest and get your school the free passes.

6.  Why do the tickets say admit 2 people.  Does that mean we can bring more than one person for free: Yes, each ticket is good for two people

7.  So is the entire trip free. Assuming that you have a free ticket and are using the free transportation provided by your school then the only thing that you have to pay for is paint. If you do not have the free pass then you will have to pay for admission that day. The cost is still unknown for that please contact skirmish for that info.

8.  How much paint should we buy. I recommend 1000 paintballs which should cost you about $50.00

9.  Can we bring paint. NO, only field paint sold at Skirmish is allowed. If you are caught with outside paint then you will be exspelled.

10. How much is paint. Paint cost $100.00 for a box of 2000 balls. Special deals are available if you buy more then 12 boxes visit Skirmish.com for more details about that.

11. What time will we leave and come back: That depends on your school and transportation but registration starts at 8am-10am and the game will begin at 11am

12. What if we drive or bring our own gun, will price be cheaper. No the ticket only covers your admission

13. Will all the schools be playing in the same matches. Yes it will be a war like game of capture the flag.

14. What if i (as a student of X college)want to play a match with the team of Y college: Unless the college is heavily out numbered each team will play agaisnt each other if it is uneven

15. What are you guys getting out of this. NOTHING, So please appreciate out hard work in putting all of this together.

16. If we arent paying for this trip then who is. Skirmish is picking up a large part of this aka $1.8 million dollars. The rest by the USG of your colleges

17.  What if I cant make it on the 27th can i use the tix as freeadmision on another day. YES, you can use it for anyday except the days stated onthe card

18. Will it be only pros or can beginners go. NO, It will be a large mix of all skill level

19. If i get shot the first round does that mean im out for the whole day. No, those rules will be clreaed up that day.

20.  How are you guys getting other schools to know about this. Word of mouth really. We have ateam of 8 students who are contacting other colleges if your school wants in then contact Ana amajuana@aol.com and she will tell you what you need to do.

21.  What if i miss the bus. You snooze you lose

22.  How good are the rentals. Classic Tippman 98 Great guns

23.  Can we build stuff. Yes but the speed limit is 220ft/sec

24.  What are the restrictions on what you can bring.There arent any bring what you want for the game as long as it doesnt go faster then 220ft/sec

25. How fast does a paintball travel. 190mph

26.What if my friends from some college out of the city want to come how do they sign up. Call 1800-skirmish

27.What if i cant get a ticket the day of the trip does that mean that I cant go. No it means you have to pay for admission that day

28.How many people on each side: that will be decided that once the amount of players is known

29.How many rounds will we play: Those details will be announced as the number of players is known

30.Are reserving the entire field. Depending on the number of people yes it will be if required.

31.What comes free with each ticket, does it include startup paint like last time i went: it comes with admission, gun rental and mask

32.Will it cover rental gear, upgrades, CO2 refills: yes

33.What club is sponsoring this event . EXTREME GOERS !!!!!!!!!!!!

34.Will there be any free gear or giveaways. TONS OF FREE STUFF
